That service is managed by the First Counselor, First collaborator of the Ambassador.
Principal tasks:

  • Coordination of the services of the Embassy;
  • Coordination of activities reports;
  • follow-up of political and institutional matters.

The First Counselor takes over temporarily the duties of the Ambassador in the event of absence. He is also the principal Administrator of the Website of the Embassy.

Because of the objectives laid down by the Embassy and volume of the economic exchanges between Cote d’Ivoire and India, this service was entrusted to two Counselors who have the collaboration of an Assistant.
Principal tasks:

  • Implementation and follow-up of commercial and economic Agreements between Cote d’Ivoire and India;
  • Collect, exploitation and management of economic and commercial information about the two countries;
  • Follow-up of economic and commercial projects of importance to Cote d’Ivoire;
  • Initiation and development of contacts between Indian economic operators and those of Cote d’Ivoire;
  • Coordination of the participation of Cote d’Ivoire in various economic and commercial events organized in India;
  • Preparation of the annual Magazine of the Embassy.

The Assistant of the department holds a database on the economic and commercial situation of the two countries and ensures its update. She also plays the role of Public Relation Agent of the Embassy with respect to the business community in India.

The Assistant prepares and coordinates in addition the representation of the Embassy to commercial and economic related events (trade fare, specialized show, etc…)

It is managed by the Payer, person in charge for the accountancy and the patrimony of the Embassy.
Principal tasks:

  • Development of the budget of the Embassy;
  • Execution in revenues and expenditure, of the final budget of the Embassy, in relation to the Ambassador;
  • Management of the patrimony of the Embassy

The Payer is helped in his daily tasks by an Assistant.

This service is managed by the First Secretary.
Principal tasks:

  • Delivery of the visas of stay in Cote d’Ivoire and establishment of relating statistics;
  • Administrative management of Ivorian students as well as any other Ivorian citizen residing in India (registration, establishment of consular carts, scholarship matters, marital status, legalization of documents);
  • Tourist and cultural promotion of the Cote d’Ivoire in India.

This service is under the responsibility of the Attaché.
Principal tasks:

  • Ceremonial and reception;
  • Management of the automobile park of the Embassy;
  • Follow-up of matters of safety of the chancellery and the residence of the Ambassador.

The Attaché profits in his daily tasks from the collaboration of an Assistant.

It is managed by an IT specialist.
Principal tasks:

  • Management and maintenance of the data-processing equipment of the Embassy;
  • Technical management of the Website and the Intranet of the Embassy;
  • Initiation and training of the staff to the use of computer;
  • Management and conservation of the electronic archive of the Embassy.
